Mending Clothes, Mending Hearts Fundraiser at The Pearl Works

Slowfiber and The Pearl Works invite you to repair what you wear, have fun, and help us raise money for Community Human Services at Mending Clothes, Mending Hearts on Saturday, April 27, 6pm-8pm. Learn to repair your own clothes or get items repaired while you wait!

Bring along a few items of clothing that you want fixed and we'll either teach you how to mend it or one of our repair fairies can do it for you for an additional fee per item. All proceeds will go to Community Human Services. Space is limited - register here. Admission is on a sliding scale, $20-$50.

Whether it's a hole that needs patching, a sweater that needs darning, a button that needs to be replaced, or a worn spot that needs to be reinforced before it tears, we will have a team of volunteers here to help you mend your clothes.

The evening will also include a raffle and other opportunities to raise money for Community Human Services. Every dollar raised will directly impact the lives of those in need in our community.
