13th Annual Old Monterey Seafood & Music Festival Saturday & Sunday September 30 & October 1, 2006 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Live bands from Rock, Reggae, Latin to Jazz all weekend at the Custom House Stage. Plan now for this fun, family-friendly event.
Fresh local seafood, live music, local artisans, arts & crafts, and over 90 vendors will fill the Custom House Plaza! Calamari, salmon, oysters, chowder and every type of Monterey seafood! Broiled, barbecued, grilled, fresh and also with an international touch! Beer and Wine area. Applications to be a vendor at the Seafood & Music Festival will be available in June 2006.

First Night Monterey "Let It Be A Dance" a New Year's Eve celebration of the arts December 31, 2005
First Night Monterey presents a family New Year's Eve in Downtown Monterey with a celebration of the arts, music, dance, poetry and exhibits. More than one hundred
performances and Visual Art activities. There are over 30 sites throughout the downtown area for patrons who wear the First Night Monterey 2006 button. Entertainment includes a twilight parade, creative street performers and a Grand Finale at the Custom House Plaza Stage. This is an Alcohol-free event. Sponsored by First Night Monterey, (831) 373-4778. Order discount tickets online for $12 at www.firstnightmonterey.org or come purchase tickets starting November 15th at the Farmers' Market, Bay Books or Safeway. Tickets cost $15 after December 18th and $20 the day of the event.
